What do you do in the UK when the sun shines?
With the weather set to be a scorcher over the weekend, us Brits usually descend on the seaside in the thousands, but I find our coastal towns a bit tacky (and overcrowded). We wanted to explore more of our beautiful isle and thought we should try somewhere we had never been.
We chose Snowdonia in North Wales.
The scenery on the drive there was quite something.
In fact the scenery everywhere there was quite something....
I never really understood the term "counting sheep" until we went to North Wales..these little guys are everywhere zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
It was very popular with hikers, bikers and campers alike but not to the extent that I would consider it crowded. I'm sure the Summer months may be a different story. We still have a lot more to explore but Snowdonia definitely gets a big thumbs up.
