Fail to plan, plan to fail

The passed few weeks have not gone according to plan hence my two blog posts a week has already failed. I think I need to get better organised with my jewellery making.  My uploading to Etsy has also stalled because I just was not happy with the photographs of my necklaces.

My brother very kindly ordered me a jewellery bust to help me but when I opened the package I was a little surprised to find this!  The bust is so small  my necklaces just slide off.  For what purpose do they make this size of jewellery bust? Dolly jewellery?  Baby bling? 

I have been spending some time at my little creation station but it is in need of some reorganisation. This picture was taken when it is relatively tidy, usually it looks like a bead bomb has hit it. This dormer window is a new addition to our loft hence why there is still tape on it.  I do need to organise my materials a bit better though so I can see what I have and  I don't really want to keep clogging up the window sill or blocking light.  I think a browse on Pinterest for inspiration is in order. 

The bathroom next door also doubles as my make-shift photography studio. The light tent was a Christmas present.  It came with two little lights and has been great. The huge window means I can make the most of the natural light. Now I just need to find some different displays (or bigger sized ones) to capture the pictures I want.  Perhaps a schedule of the pieces I need to capture will help motivate me to get the shots.  

My obsession with bracelet stacks continues.  I ordered some more beads in bright colours and patterns as I have a couple of ideas I want to try.  I'll post some of the pieces once I'm finished. I need to keep away from bead sites though as I really cannot buy anymore.....
