FIY - Frame it Yourself
I love to take pictures and then mess about cropping and editing them. There are so many online tools and apps that can turn an OK picture into a great piece of personalised art.
Recently I decided to change the pictures in our house and thought I'd use some shots taken on holidays over the last year to decorate the walls.
I made a trip to Hobbycraft and Staples for the supplies. It's worth noting that Wilkinson's and Ikea both do similar frames at reasonable prices.
White Multi Frame - £13.00, Black 10 x 8 frames £7.00 - Hobbycraft
HP Advanced Photo Paper A4 - £16.49 - Staples * they had a buy one get one free offer so I picked up the small paper for free when it usually retails at £5.00
Here's the finished results
I would quite like some larger prints on canvas and have been playing around with pictures to make into different artwork rather than just photos. I really like multi media art so want to have a go at putting something together. If it turns out OK maybe I'll share on here.
