Florida Diary June 2017 Part 1

Started the holiday with a lazy day by the pool having checked into the Best Western Premier Saratoga Resort.  We've stayed here quite a few times and really like that instead of just a room you actually get a little house but with all the benefits of a hotel.  It is also a great location for Disney, so we decided to head to Disney Springs.  We made a pit stop for a drink not realising that Jock Lindsey's Hangar bar is actually Indiana Jones themed!  We've walked by so many times and didn't realise what it was. Although to be fair the theme is subtly done with some decoration and references within the drinks menu. Unfortunately I was designated driver so it was only mocktails for me.  A quick dinner in Wolfgang Puck (90s throwback restaurant - I found this quite meh) then to keep our Orlando tradition headed to AMC cinema to watch Pirates of the Caribbean 5.  You would think this franchise had run out of jokes by the fifth film but I have to say this was probably one of my favourites.  I especially liked the guillotine scene and the dialogue around Carina being a horologist!
